As can be seen we finally finished up the tub Friday by getting the texture pretty close and getting everything painted. It appears there are still a few things that can be seen through the paint but one of those things we just need to accept.
We also have not been able to duplicate the popcorn texture on the ceiling,
We had one of those spray containers of popcorn but I don't think you can sweep fast enough in "1/2 second" bursts to get the same consistancy- maybe we'll try the paint on stuff next. 
As you can see Our wash room finished up nicely- even though our washer outlet hose pops out intermittantly. Got the sanding block holding it in until we make a final decision on how to best set up the laundry.
This is the 3rd room wall- it does have two more coats of mud on it though. should be about ready for texture.
