Roll over

We had a successful Thanksgiving this year. I say successful because nothing was burnt to badly and everyone went away full. My sister Becky and her husband Amos came down from Chicago. The guys played football for the annual Turkey Bowl of EQ vs YM while we prepared the turkey and the fixings. The orange rolls even came out alive.
Oo La La. What cuties we have here.

Both grandpas were able to participate in Bryn's blessing. Her dress was my mothers(Grandma Prescott) christening dress.

One monumental step in the life of Bryn was accomplished right before Thanksgiving......The Roll Over. She picks up her knees and over she goes. Usually getting stuck on her stomach and yelling for help. We thought we were busy before, yet now the trouble is just starting.

New Baby

Before

Well this week was exciting, we were able to go to the hospital early morning on thursday and get comfortable in our little room. We got all settled in and watched some Pretender and Man from Snowy River. (after Kt got her epidural)

The baby came around six and was wisked off to the nursury, she was kept there overnight since she drank a stomach full of baby fluid and her O2 was low. She was very well behaved at the hospital-every time Katie was getting ready to go nurse the nurses called and said Kiley Bryn was ready for her. (meaning Bryn was crying)
So we brought her home and we are definately adjusting to the third member.
More updates later.

Mid west summer.

This is our fearless new guard cat...doesn't seem to be much of a hunter yet, but we have high hopes.

Kt gets tired of starting the dryer three times for each load of laundry... so she set up a clothes line (sortof ) as a hint I think?

Then there was the demo derby. Check out the car that apparently doesn't have rear wheels, it does but they aren't functional due to the crash charateristics of the car- noise and good times by all- even the baby was squirming around, we don't know if he was cheering or wanting to leave either way we had to experiment and so Sat night we went to the dirt track races- the baby was cheering there too, but KT was a good mom and kept him under control.

Memorial Day

Fun fun

We tried some of that covering stuff that mom does on all the walls, it looked like the baby already made it's mark, so we left it alone

Home Repairs

This is the awesome wood panelling that came with the house- they threw it in free after 5 hours of hard nosed negotiating. This is the front room after-if you want two thirds of the panelling it is in the garage, if you don't it will be part of a bonfire soon. That is KT in the piano area of the room.
The green door was painted and gone for those who saw it. Look at the beautiful trimming- So KT cleaned up the bad edges and thats why it looks good.
This was before all the trim was done

This is the kitchen texturing/new light. When we took down the light/fan that was there before we found some mouse remains-We could never figure out where the smell was coming from when we moved in. So Kelli beat that.

Here are some pics for those who want to see.

Chicago Trip/Becky's wedding

Our chicago outing last summer

First

Well it appears this is how people keep up to date with what is goin on. So we'll start. Katie and I are in our house our first winter in the midwest anticipating our first kid. We have a good time and keep each other entertained as we joke about our lives.
