Summer 2011

Bryn was quiet one day and when she came to find mom she had put this together, scriptures and her family.
This is her flying train box that is filled with balls when she isn't in there- and some times even when she is- when she isn't playing with her balls she has fun with a doll that Katie got her.

Another favorite- Icecream- she is trying to sign icecream in the picture and milk shakes are even better when they have brown milk (chocolate) in them.

I think Bryn's boots are famous by now, she sure loves wearing them and no that isn't a booger on her nose, she took a header on some steps a few days before.
Ahh, aunts and uncles, hours of entertainment for a two year old, mom and dad are pretty boring and they don't always give her 100% attention so that's where extended family come in!
Practice for a future gymnast- somersaults- Instructions- 1)stick head on ground,2)keep moving feet toward head until bum locates over head, 3) let gravity work

Look at those love birds on the bike, makes you wonder what she is whispering to him ^^

Bryn loves the bike and also wearing the "hat"
The neighbor gave us the liner out of the pool that she was taking down, we were going to use it for a sand box liner but in the mean time we made a slip and slide out of it, it wasn't that slick so KT got out the dishsoap- problem solved.

February Snowmobiling

3rd week in February- seems to historically be sunny in NE Utah and SE Idaho- another rough day of snowmobiling!

-Oh but we have to get there first- 4 hours to Omaha then a direct flight to SLC. Bryn travels well, it was really nice that we got the seats behind first class- I was considering stretching out on the floor- legroom is amazing!
Man Morning- If you get up early you can get out and burn through atleast a quarter tank of fuel before the rest of the group gets there and is ready. Look we even got dad to look at the camera and crack a smile.

As you will see in the morning it was cloudy but about noon the clouds broke and we even got a smile out of Katie- but it may have been the warm fire and conversation. There is a misunderstanding that we go to socialize- I figure that if we don't run atleast half of the fleet out of fuel by the time we head back we weren't playing hard enough. We can eat when we get to Maddox's. There is a funny note though- I did say eat and would still recommend drinking sufficiently- between the altitude and work you are bound to dehydrate your self after a good day. Ask Ethan- he got cold Maddox food- rolls just aren't the same!

A view from the top- might even be able to see Bear Lake in the background, thank you Brian and the crew from BeaverCreek Lodge for a year of beautiful riding on the new ETEC 800s.

There was one caveat to that- we finally got to a hill worthy of the snowmobiles and while making my second run up I lost a cylinder on the sled and about made it down the quick way- rolling. We pulled it out though, as you will see below though we got out the Satellite phone to call up the mechanic to come and try and get the snowmobile out of the hole- a reset of the engine controller later the mechanic made it back with the sled- unfortunately Katie had to have me on the back of her sled for the rest of the trip.
The snow was hard enough that very little labor was put into pulling people out, so we weren't too tired to eat at Maddox's. We played at the pool the next morning then went home on Saturday- short trip but it was good to visit the Prescott family and that they let the Hanks' tag along too.

Snow fun

Katie and Bryn at the Hill by the Evans- they got a little backwards but it was a beautiful day.

Just before the take off Bryn would giggle the whole way down.

Successful day of sledding, still smiles on our faces.

Future explorer in our make-shift airplane.
